What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you scan a QR code and the plan is downloaded to your phone. Your home SIM can keep working at the same time.

Does my phone support eSIM?

Most iPhone XS/XR, Samsung Galaxy S20, Google Pixel 3 and later models support eSIM. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked. Dial *#06# — if you see an EID number, your phone can use eSIM.

How do I install an eSIM?

After payment, you'll receive a QR code by email. Go to Settings › Cellular (or Connections) › Add eSIM, scan the QR code and follow the on-screen instructions. Installation only takes a few minutes.

Should I install the eSIM before or after I arrive?

It's best to install it while you're still at home on a stable Wi‑Fi connection. When you arrive, just turn on the eSIM line and enable data roaming for that line.

Can I keep my home phone number?

Yes. The travel eSIM is added as a second line, so your current SIM stays in your phone. You can keep that line on to receive calls and texts while using the eSIM for data.

My eSIM has signal but no internet?

Check that the eSIM is selected as your cellular data line and that data roaming is turned on for the eSIM. If it still doesn't work, restart your phone or contact our support team.
